Indoor Lace Screens

An ancient Venetian lace pattern was reproduced on a 4mm laser-cut galvanized steel screen for the opening of the Lace Museum on Burano, the enchanting island next to Venice that is known for maintaining the finest lace tradition in the world. It was an honor to be selected to design and produce an indoor screening lace panel to separate two areas of the museum. And it was a privilege to be granted access to the archives, to study and take inspiration from original 18th century drawings. The result, a win-win situation!
